Charlie Brewer, Jr. & Team Roper Long Lining and using Planer Boards

We had a great day. The weather was perfect, just a little wind and no rain. The techniques for the day were long lining and trolling Church Tackle TX-12 Planer Boards. This was the first time Charlie Brewer used a Planer Board. He said he heard a lot about it but never seen it used for crappie.

Our boat speed was 1.1-1.4 mph.

Equipment:

Rod: 6ft. & 12ft. Fiberglass Rod.

Line: 6lb. Test Endurance Cortland Line

Lures: All Charlie Brewer Slider Products. Double Action Minnow and the Slider Grub.

Colors: Grasshopper and Junebug/Chart.

Jig Head: Two 1/16th oz. jigs spaced about three feet  apart.
