Well, dad and I finished 4th at the Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters Tournament held on Lake Washington in Greenville, MS. I was a tough tournament. We had one of the boat trailer tires come off and thank God it hit the tree on the side of the road because if not it would have been in the lake. I would like to give a huge shoot out to Kenneth Middleton II, president of the Magnolia Crappie Club and his tournament partner Larry. He had a hub kit that he gave us and it was the right size and everything!!! Thank You Kenneth!!!

Tournament day came and fishing was a grind. Dad and I had zero crappie in the boat at 11:00AM the tournament started at 7:00AM. The only thing we were catching was drum and gar. So we move to a totally different area of the lake. An area we didn’t even pre-fish. Once we arrived to the area it was calm and just felt right. We put out our poles and with in 5-10min. a pole goes down. Bam we set the hook and here come a pound and a half crappie in the boat. Our plan was to zig zag in and out from shallow water to deeper water. Thank you to Do-It Molds that has almost everything you need to make your own lures for helping us get 4th Place.
