4th Place at Crappie Masters FL State Championship

Can you say a tough and cold tournament! We just finished fishing the Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters FL State Championship and placed 4th. We didn't get but a day in a half of practice in but God is Good. 

Day 1 was little windy, rainy and thunderstorms. The Frogg Toggs and their Water Boots was needed for sure. We Spider Rigged with hand tied jigs made from Do-It Mold products tipping them with minnows in 5-6 ft. of water. The fish didn’t start eating for us until around 9:30AM and we didn’t miss any fish when they started eating.

 
Day 2 the wind was blowing 20-30MPH. We started of Spider Rigging caught 6 crappie but said the lake was getting to bad to Spider Rig so we started Long Line Trolling. We trolled and started picking up some go crappie. On day one we didn’t miss any fish but day two we did. 2 missed crappie cost us the win. For long lining we were using White/Chart Curly Tails, Black&Blue/Chart Curly Tails and the Charlie Brewer Slider Grub and Double Action Minnow in Black/Chart.
