5th Place Cabela's Crappie USA Super Event KY/Barkley Lake

This past weekend dad and I fished the Cabela's Crappie USA KY/Barkley Lake two day tournament. The first day of the tournament we had 7 crappie that weighed 9.56. We were in 13th place. During the first day of the tournament we probably caught 50 plus crappie. We started fishing at 6:30am and by 8:30am we had culled twice through 7 crappie. The second day we did better and brought in 10.32. Caught around the same number of fish but it was real slow in the morning due to all the boats and the clear blue sky. We finished the tournament in 5th Place! Best finish on Ky/Barkley ever.

Our method of fishing was spider rigging in 6-14 feet of water. We were using the Roper Outdoors Blue Shiner Jig head with Lime/Chart Southern Pro 2.5 Tubes and Do-It Soft Baits Tubes in the same color tipped with minnows.
