Meet The Owners 

Tommie Roper is a native of Forrest City, AR. He is the co-owner of Roper Outdoors, LLC. His passion for fishing was started at an early age, as his dad would take him and his siblings to the lake. Growing up his parents would always refer to crappie as white perch. It was later on that he finally knew they were talking about the best fish in the world, Crappie. Tommie and his son Jarad are avid fishermen; they fish as a Father & Son Team on the Crappie USA Tournament Trail and Crappie Masters Tournament Trail. Not only does Tommie love fishing naturally, but he also loves fishing for the souls of men, as he is a minister of the gospel. He is the senior pastor of Harvest Field Ministries Church in Forrest City, AR. 

Jarad Roper is a native of New Jersey and the founder and owner of Roper Outdoors, LLC, based out of Forrest City, AR. Roper Outdoors was created to organize events that promote and educate people of all ages about fishing and the great outdoors. The motto “Keeping The Great Outdoors Great” came from the founder’s deep passion for the outdoors. Jarad is a renowned speaker and communicator, from presentations, to valuable information on fishing techniques. Jarad’s passion for the outdoors and the sport of crappie fishing can be felt in his seminars and just by being around him. His goal is to show you just how easy the sport of crappie fishing really is and how fun it could be. Not only does Jarad love fishing naturally, but he also loves fishing for the souls of men, as he is a minister of the gospel. He is the student life pastor of Harvest Field Ministries Church in Forrest City, AR.
